I've had the pleasure of working with young adults in their twenties over the past year and I've been impressed with their work ethic and ability to keep up with college schedules and not let their partying interfere with school and work. Many of them put on a good show and play the part of the party kings and queens very well, yet they show up and do their jobs and do them well. Mind you they may be hung over and may have had two hours of sleep, but they push through and chew a lot of minty gum!
If they ask questions about financial decisions or what field they should pursue I will answer them honestly and without a lot of fluff. I see the temptation of wanting things you can't afford. I see them struggle to keep up with their Smartphones, rent, maintenance on old cars, and lengthy discussions on where to go out based on the drink specials that night. Although I can already predict the ones that will become adult children and forever financially irresponsible, watching them enjoy these years and working hard to become independent is inspiring and hopeful.
